Bolden Group developed its sustainability strategy through a comprehensive and collaborative process across all areas of the business. Guided by our sustainability consultants, we carried out detailed internal and external analysis. We also held workshops and engagement sessions to identify the sustainability issues that matter most to our stakeholders and our business.

This process led to the creation of a materiality matrix. The matrix informed our strategic framework, goals, and targets. Our strategy focuses on three core pillars where Bolden Group can make the greatest impact: Our Communities, Our Environment, and Our Business. Each pillar is supported by long-term goals that drive measurable and meaningful action.

Our strategy reflects Bolden Group’s purpose of creating sustainable and resilient communities where people can thrive. It aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). To maintain transparency and accountability, we regularly review and report on how our initiatives align with the SDGs.

Bolden Group established an ESG Taskforce to drive the success of our Sustainability Strategy. The taskforce oversees progress against our goals and embeds sustainability across all areas of the business. Senior representatives from each Bolden division form part of the group. Our Managing Director chairs the taskforce and reports directly to the Bolden Group Board.

The ESG Taskforce played a key role in developing our sustainability strategy. Members contributed practical insight and diverse perspectives from across the business. They worked closely with our sustainability advisors to ensure the strategy reflects Bolden Group’s mission and aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
